Acubed.IT is proud to announce its selection to participate in the 7th edition of the NCSC for Startups programme, a transformative initiative led by The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in collaboration with Plexal, an innovation company bridging the gap between government, startups, and industry. The September 2023 cohort welcomed five promising cyber companies from across the UK, including Acubed.IT, to embark on a 12-week journey of intensive learning and mentorship.

Throughout the programme, we had the privilege of receiving invaluable business and technical expertise, insights, and guidance from esteemed partners such as Deloitte, CyNam, Hub8, and QA, in addition to the NCSC and Plexal. This comprehensive support ecosystem was designed to empower startups with the talent and ambition to tackle the most pressing cybersecurity challenges facing the UK today.

Upon successful completion of the programme, Acubed.IT joined the esteemed ranks of the NCSC for Startups Alumni, a distinguished community comprising over 75 startups that have graduated from the programme. As of January 2024, these alumni have collectively raised over £526 million in investment and created more than 1700 jobs, demonstrating the impactful outcomes facilitated by the programme.

Reflecting on the experience, Amit Gupta, CEO of Acubed.IT, expressed profound gratitude for the wealth of knowledge gained and the transformative impact of the programme on the company’s growth journey. He highlighted the pivotal role of the programme in expanding Acubed.IT's horizons, refining its pitching skills, and navigating the intricacies of the startup landscape. He emphasised the immense value derived from active engagement with mentors and fellow participants, urging future companies to wholeheartedly embrace learning, networking, and new challenges. Looking ahead, Amit outlined Acubed.IT's ambitious future steps, which include bringing their innovative product to market and contributing to enhancing the UK's cybersecurity posture.
