JUNE 2025: Amit Gupta Speaks on Secure Data Sharing at International Conference.

We’re proud to share that our CEO and Founder, Amit Gupta, was invited to speak at the International Digital Trust, AI, and the Future Conference hosted by Edinburgh Napier University. The event, funded by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, brought together experts exploring how digital trust and AI shape the future. 

 

In his session, Amit drew from over two decades of experience in cybersecurity and national security to spotlight the evolving challenges of secure data sharing across trust boundaries. Amit discussed the challenges around moving data between low-trust and high-trust domains, particularly in government and defence. He highlighted the limitations of traditional air-gapped systems, which, while secure, create operational silos, hamper data aggregation, and reduce efficiency. 

 

To address this, Amit outlined how High Assurance Gateways (HAGs) have become a foundation for secure cross-domain data exchange in the UK. Certified against stringent national security standards, HAGs have served as a trusted mechanism for file-based transfers for over a decade. 

 

Building on this foundation, Amit introduced Acubed IT’s Cross Domain Hybrid Application (CDHA) framework. CDHA leverages the proven assurance layer of HAGs but goes further securing user-driven workflows, fine-grained access controls, and dynamic data tagging. It also supports future needs like PQC-ready transfers, attribute-based encryption, and seamless cross-domain API connections. 

 

Amit also referenced Acubed IT’s deep roots in UK government projects, where CDHA and other secure solutions are used to enhance resilience, support digital transformation, and enable secure collaboration across high-assurance environments.
