We integrate High Assurance Gateway (HAG) technology into our systems through trusted partner and reseller agreements. As gateway-agnostic integrators, we work with multiple HAG providers to deliver the best-fit solution for each use case.

Bill Buchanan OBE
Professor of Computing, Edinburgh Napier University
Professor Bill Buchanan OBE FRSE is a leading expert in cybersecurity and cryptography at Edinburgh Napier University, where he serves as a Professor in the School of Computing. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA), and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE) in 2024 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to cybersecurity.
Appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2017 Birthday Honours for services to cybersecurity, Professor Buchanan is a prolific researcher, educator, and innovator. He has published over 30 academic books and more than 450 peer-reviewed research papers. His work has had significant real-world impact, leading to the creation of several successful spin-out companies, including Zonefox, Symphonic Software, Cyan Forensics, and MemCrypt.
Professor Buchanan is the founder of the Blockpass Identity Lab, one of the first academic centres of its kind globally, dedicated to research in privacy-enhancing technologies, blockchain, and digital identity. The lab operates in close partnership with industry and is supported by substantial external funding.
He has received numerous accolades for teaching excellence, including student-voted awards in 2011, 2014, 2015, 2019, 2020, and 2023. His commitment to public engagement and accessible education is reflected in his extensive online teaching resources and his widely respected educational website, Asecuritysite.com.
